Meet Elaine

Hi there, I'm Elaine.

I'm an independent paramedical tattoo artist, and the heart behind Evolve Med Ink, which I established in March of 2021.

I work by appointment out of two beautiful studios. The Artistry Beauty Studio in Lake Forest, owned by my best friend Priscilla, and Alyssa's Beauty Bar in Riverside. You'll usually find me bouncing between the two, bringing my work to clients all over Southern California.

I specialize in scar camouflage and 3D restorative areola and nipple tattoos. This is the work that lights me up. It lets me blend my artistic eye with real purpose, and I'm so grateful that this is what I get to do every single day. I've trained with the best artists over the years to make sure I'm always bringing the best techniques and care to every client who sits in my chair.

Honestly though, I didn't always know this was going to be my path.

Two of my best friends had everything to do with how I got here. Priscilla was the one who first opened my eyes to the world of paramedical tattooing and pushed me to start with scar camouflage. The moment I stepped through that door, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Priscilla and I went on to train together in 3D areola and nipple restoration tattooing. Shortly after, my dearest friend Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her diagnosis shook me to my core, and her loss lit a fire in me that I carry with me every day. Her strength and memory live in every breast cancer patient I sit across from. Offering this service keeps me close to her and keeps her memory alive.

A few years into building Evolve Med Ink I kept noticing the same thing happening. Clients who needed areola and nipple tattoos but just weren't ready yet. Within two weeks, two separate clients came to me in that exact situation. I took it as a sign. I completed a prosthetics course, and Bare, A Private Collection was born.

When I'm not in the studio you'll find me being a mom to four amazing kids and a handful of fur babies. I speak both English and Spanish, with plenty of Spanglish in between. I like to keep things warm, personal and a little funny when the moment calls for it.

What matters most to me is that every person who walks through my door feels safe, seen and never judged. Whether you're a survivor, somewhere in the middle of your healing journey, or simply someone who wants to feel more at home in your own skin, I built this for you.

Every client who sits across from me is on a deeply personal journey. My approach is simple. I listen first, create second. I take the time to understand where you are emotionally and physically before we begin, because this work is about so much more than ink on skin. It's about restoration, confidence, and feeling whole again.

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the look on a client's face when they see their results for the first time. That moment makes everything worth it. Every session is a step toward healing, and I am truly honored to be part of that journey.
